The Prelude

Summary

Last semester, I joined Medium Design Collective, an art community that strikes inspiration through design. I pitched the idea of how we perceive music, and we created a Spotify aura feature for sharing music.

The Problem

Music is different for everyone.

College students who share music want

                 to express who  they are to other people,
    but Spotify doesn’t give them control over **creativity.**

My main role in this project was conducting user research and making sure our feature would align with Spotify’s goal of unlocking creativity through music.

After conducting 10 user interviews, analyzing other music apps in the market, and some fine-tuning, we came up with ~ The Music Mood ~
